Looking for an invigorating, well-paying career where you have to use both your mind and body? How about becoming a fish farmer? Or maybe running a hydroponics greenhouse? With the explosions of both of these industries, the supply of educated, trained labor is still far behind the demand.
Luckily more schools around the country are jumping on the bandwagon and getting programs put together to train our next generation of advanced plant and fish farmers.
With program's like Lewiston Auburns and University of Arizona's on hydroponics, this demand can be filled. Forward looking programs are necessary. We need nimble universities scanning what types of jobs and qualified labor the economy is demanding and putting together programs to meet that demand. Not only is this how we can fight unemployment in our country, but we can feed ourselves delicious fish and veggies at the same time. So, unsure of what you want to do for your career? You're needed in aquaculture and hydroponics!
